Dreaming of Three is a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to charitable fund raising through our passion of horses and rodeo.
We are a group of equestrians who love to give back through our passion for horses and rodeo. Our main program is called Rodeo Kids. We take children fighting cancer, heart disease or other life threatening diseases and their families to rodeos for a fun family night out without worry.
As DO3 continues to grow, we decided that, in addition to the Rodeo Kid Program, we would reach out to children who have survived a life-threatening illness by offering a scholarship to help them financially so that they would be able to attend a two or four-year program at a college or university or to attend a professional or technical school.
DO3 will begin in 2022 to offer two scholarships to deserving individuals, one for $1500 and one for $500. Applicants must be a survivor of a life-threatening illness or currently diagnosed with a life-threatening illness; and, either a graduating senior, enrolling in a two or four-year college or university or plan to attend a professional or trade school, or someone who is currently attending a two or four-year college or university or professional or trade school; must have a minimum unweighted G.P.A. of 3.25; a record of community service; letters of recommendation and submit an essay.
Applications can be obtained from the button on the left. and submitted online.
Applicants can begin applying on March 1 of the year in which they graduate. The deadline for applications is April 30 of the year in which they graduate high school. Scholarships winners will be notified by email on or before May 31. Applicants can not have received this scholarship previously.
